The groom and bride must go to the registry to apply for the Qualification Process for Civil Wedding at least 30 days before their scheduled wedding date.

Maximum lead time for this is 60 days.

Note: In order to get married before the 30-day period, it is necessary to request exemption of the requirement for Banns of Matrimony.
