The future spouses may choose the location where their civil wedding will take place, that is, at the Civil Registry or at another location (in diligence).

In order to do this, they must first go to the Registry closest to the domicile of either one of them to make their application for the Qualification Process for Civil Matrimony. When the Qualification Process is completed, and this takes about 20 to 30 days, the bride and groom shall personally take it to the Registry of their choice to schedule the date for the ceremony, and to determine if it is to be at the Registry or at an outside location (at home or at a Buffet or elsewhere).
